Emily’s story: Bought in Anderson
Emily's story is a fantastic example for all future homebuyers. What was the secret to her success in finding a new home so quickly?
🎯An unwavering focus on two "must-haves": A neighborhood filled with families in a specific school district
🎯 Decisive action: When a home met her criteria, she toured it immediately. Knowing that inventory was limited, she was also quick to write an offer.
🎯 A realistic perspective: She understood that no house would be perfect; she was open to making basic updates as long as the house had good bones.
Because Emily was so committed to her timeline and her priorities--and because she acted when the right home became available--her buying journey took less than six weeks!
We're filled with gratitude for the Texas realtor who introduced Emily to us, and we're thrilled to watch her settle into her new home in Cincinnati.

Marcus & Tiffany’s story: Bought in College Hill
When you outgrow your house but love your popular neighborhood, you have to make some tough decisions:
Do you try to make your too-small house work?
Do you move to another area that has more houses available?
Do you prepare for making your dream happen and then wait until the time is right?
Everyone has a different answer; for Tiffany and Marcus, the priority was on having the right place for their growing family. Coordinating buying and selling at the same time can be stressful, but we have many strategies and options to make it work.
With a lot of preparation and patience, they were able to move from their former house to their new house in just over 24 hours. We're so happy to have helped this sweet family gain more space and a new place to create happy memories, just in time for the holidays!
Erica’s story: Sold in Milford

Erica created a gorgeous home, inside and out—aren’t you swooning over her stunning kitchen and all those incredible outdoor areas and views?! When it was time for her to find a new owner who would love it as much as she did, we asked our trusted media partner to take photographs that captured the home’s unique character for potential buyers. Then we added a coming soon period to generate excitement, social media posts highlighting those fantastic photos, door-knocking throughout the neighborhood to spread the word, and an open house scheduled in between all the showings in the first few days of hitting the market.
The result? An accepted offer, over asking pricing, by the end of the first weekend!
Our goal is always to keep things as simple and stress-free for sellers like Erica so they can continue focusing on what’s important in their daily lives. Our proven systems and strategies help deliver top dollar offers, as quickly as possible, and they’re customized to fit each seller’s individual needs and preferences.
Congratulations, Erica—we’re so happy your big move is within Cincinnati so we get to see all the good things ahead for you and your family!

Amanda’s story:
Bought in Mt. Healthy
All Amanda’s doing right now is winning and growing, and we are here for it! Buying her first home became a reality after a recent work promotion, and she found a place that offers the perfect mix of DIY challenges she’s excited to take on. And let’s just take a moment to appreciate that she was able to negotiate closing costs, receive additional funding after inspections, and get the typical appraisal requirement waived. Amazing!
We were fortunate to be part of Amanda’s journey because a long-time family friend of ours referred us . . . another happy reminder that YOU—our friends and clients—are the reason we get to do what we love every day. Thank you for trusting us to take care of your people.
Amanda, we hope your winning streak lasts forever, and we can’t wait to see how you transform your new home!

Alyssa & Paul’s story:
Bought in Mason
Alyssa and Paul had ALLLLL the stressors and challenges thrown at them during their recent move to Cincinnati:
Selling their home in Atlanta
Relocating to a state hours away
Buying at a time of year when fewer homes are available
Needing to quickly meet residency requirements for a new school district
Wanting to downsize but not yet being ready for the condo life
After an introduction from their Atlanta realtor, our goal was to make their major transition happen as smoothly and quickly as possible. With loads of determination, Alyssa and Paul committed to their search 100% and didn’t let up until they’d found the right place for them. Seeing their smiles as they received keys to their new home made US smile just as much. Congratulations to you, and welcome to your next chapter!
Debbie & family’s story:
Sold in Green Township
Our sellers sat at the closing table just a month after their family home hit the market. Their hard work and trust in our process led to a huge win within days of being listed.
They built this custom home decades ago and it’s been well loved and well cared for throughout the years. When it was time to sell, they knew they needed expert guidance to share this unique never-before-on-the-market property with potential buyers.
In our initial meetings we discussed the importance of using professional staging to highlight its one-of-a-kind layout, along with professional cleaners who could make everything shine top-to-bottom. Their investment returned to them immediately with an accepted offer significantly above asking price.
Bottom line: We love it when our proven strategies get proven again and again, with a fantastic outcome for our clients!

Beth & Filemón’s story:
Bought in Mason
What an honor to help this family return to Mason, a place they called home years ago that was filled with happy memories.
The majority of our relationship has been virtual while they wrapped up their time in Illinois—even the first showing of their new house was done over FaceTime! So it was even sweeter to celebrate this new chapter in their lives in person at their closing. It’s Cincinnati’s gain to have this genuinely kind and wonderful family back in the area.
All of this was possible because their realtor in Illinois made the referral to our team and connected all of us. We’re grateful to be known around the country as a trusted resource in Cincinnati, and we can’t wait to help more great families move to this city we love so much!

Jennifer & Cun Yong’s story:
Bought in Blue Ash
We met Jennifer and Cun Yong through their family members who bought a home with us earlier this year. This experience was extra-special because these family members now get to call each other neighbors, too 🏡
Their goal was to live nearby in the same subdivision, and within just a few months we were able to help them achieve it. What a happy moment—congratulations to the entire family on their big moves!
Kensie & John’s story:
Sold in Linwood
When you have a great realtor in the family but she lives a few hours away from the house you’re selling, what do you do?
If you’re John and Kensie, you ask her to recommend a Cincinnati realtor who provides the same exceptional service she does … and that’s how we all met!
We’ve loved the opportunity to take great care of an out-of-town agent’s family members. We thought the peak moment in this experience was presenting multiple offers over asking price on the first weekend their home was on the market. But the happiest moment actually happened at the closing table, as the buyer expressed his immense gratitude for the many ways John and Kensie had taken care of HIM—from sharing info about the neighborhood to providing pages of notes about the mechanicals to ensuring the home was spotless for his final walkthrough and upcoming move-in date.
John and Kensie, thank you for being 5-star sellers … what an honor to help you make a big move and to see your how thoughtfulness impacted the new owner. And thank you for another reminder that we get to work with the very best people in Cincinnati 🎉

Derek & Emma’s story:
Bought in Downtown
We love helping friends--and friends of friends--make big moves. We also love meeting new people who become friends during their home-buying journey.
Derek and Emma walked into our lives one Saturday morning while we were hosting an open house. While that home ultimately wasn’t the right fit, they quickly trusted us to help them continue their search. And when “the one” showed up ... they put together an incredible offer for the sellers that rose above the others. What a great win!
Sheila’s relocation story:
Sold in Fairfield Township
Sheila accepted a new job opportunity in a different state and had just a few months to make her move happen. With so much to do, including selling her home, she used her company’s relocation benefits AND Leah Joos Group.
As relocation certified specialists, we worked seamlessly with Sheila and her company to list her home and ensure a smooth transition into this new chapter. With the security of relocation benefits and our commitment to providing exceptional service, Sheila was able to move on her own timeline and experience greater peace of mind. She had time to take care of all the personal details of moving out of state while we managed the process of selling her beautiful home.
Our goal is always to make things as simple and stress-free as possible for our sellers. Partnering with relocation services is an additional way we provide value and ease for our clients.

“Leah and her team went above and beyond to support me . . . It could not have worked out more perfectly!”
Debbie’s story:
Bought in East Walnut Hills
There’s nothing better than helping a dear friend buy a house that makes her smile like this! What an honor to see this incredible woman find the perfect place to start a new chapter in her life.
Debbie had some specific requirements for her next home and just a few neighborhoods in mind. After months of seeing houses that just didn’t check the most important boxes—or were under contract before she had time to contemplate her decision to write an offer—she revised and expanded her search. Throughout the process, Debbie became more flexible and also more attuned to the realities of a highly competitive market.
Debbie’s patience and persistence paid off! We are so happy that she’ll have a gorgeous view from her home office, chirping birds to enjoy from her deck, and a fantastic neighborhood to start exploring. Congratulations, Debbie--you make our hearts full!

Sara’s story:
Bought in Westwood
What you see: A happy new homeowner standing in front of the place she bought for herself and her children.
What you don't see: All the time and energy Sara devoted to her search. Focus, perseverance, and optimism is why this busy teacher and mom is holding a SOLD sign and getting ready to move in just a few days. Was it easy to take time out of her busy schedule to look at new houses? Definitely not! But finding a place for her family to call home was a top priority this year, and Sara worked very hard to make her dream become a reality.
Congratulations to Sara and her children. Enjoy your new home for years to come!
Kara’s story:
Sold in Paddock Hills
Congratulations to Kara, who sold her Paddock Hills home so she could move closer to family in North Carolina. We met Kara through current buyers who rent in the same tight-knit neighborhood … they’d heard she planned to sell, so we reached out to arrange a showing. While it ultimately wasn’t the right fit for our buyers, Kara could see our strong commitment to helping clients and, in the middle of interviewing other agents, hired us to list her home.
We found ways to share Kara’s character-filled home with 1,000+ agents and interested buyers during Cincinnati’s Multiple Listing Service (MLS) website outage. While this outage disrupted every part of the typical listing process, we problem-solved and hustled so that Kara was still able to receive multiple offers above asking price on the first weekend her home was on the market.
The very best part of Kara’s story is that hours before her closing, her first nephew was born–and she could be in North Carolina for that exciting moment because everything was taken care of for her in Cincinnati. She was able to focus on the most important parts of her life while we focused on selling her house and helping her make this big move. Thank you, Kara, for trusting us to be part of your journey–we are wishing you all the best in your new city and your new role as aunt.

Wayne’s story:
Sold in West Chester
We were thrilled to be under contract for our client Wayne’s house in one weekend while he was visiting his daughter Ginny, whom Leah knows well from her academic advising days at University of Cincinnati. He was out of town when the listing went live so he didn’t have to rearrange his life around many showings and an open house. And when he returned we were able to present him with multiple offers. It was a dream scenario all around!
But the truly special part of this was helping people we care deeply about. It’s an honor to help Ginny and her dad sell a home filled with so many cherished memories. Now they’re one step closer to living in the same city again and creating many more memories together in a new place. We are so excited for all that’s ahead for them!

“What a team effort! What a mentor Leah is! I know Leah through my wife and daughter; they both said she would sell my house some day. I thought differently; thought I’d ‘shop’ for a realtor...then I met Leah. She is:
- on point
- customer focussed
- professional
- prepared
- market-savvy
the list is endless. ”

Mike and Donna’s story:
Sold in Batavia
With a move to Florida in their immediate future, Mike and Donna were looking for experts who could sell their home quickly and easily. It was our absolute pleasure to deliver them multiple offers, well over listing price, on the very first day the home hit the market! And in January 2023, the sales price was the highest ever on their street. In a traditionally slower time in real estate, this sale couldn’t have been hotter.
This home was a dream to market and sell … as seen in the video and photos, every inch was impeccably maintained. So many custom details and features throughout. How many homes do you come across that have a car lift in the carriage garage?
While we’re sad to say goodbye when great clients move out of state, we are happy to see Mike and Donna follow their dreams. Thank you for trusting us to help you with selling the home you loved and cared for in Ohio!

“5 Stars! Hunter and Leah did a great job helping us sell our home.”
